Tight Blood Supply
Affecting Ability to Serve Patients
Tight
blood supplies across Ohio are affecting the Red Cross's
ability to supply blood to area hospitals. The effects from
the Midwest flooding and tornadoes are also having an impact,
especially in areas where flooding and road closures have
forced the cancellation of blood drives and kept community
members away. Individuals of all blood types, especially type
O, are needed immediately to give blood. Please call
1-800-GIVE-LIFE or visit BloodSavesLives.org.
