Katie Bottorff

Executive Director.

I was born and raised in Fayette County. I graduated from Miami Trace High School and obtained a certificate in Travel and Tourism in North Miami Beach, Fl. Since then, I’ve gained valuable work experience at Avis Rent-A-Car and at Hospice of Fayette County where I focused on community involvement, patient and family services, fundraising, human resources and compliancy.

I married my husband Mark in 1992 and have two amazing children, Maggie 15 and Hayden, 11. We live in Jeffersonville where, for the last 12-years, I’ve been a homemaker and active at Jeffersonville Elementary School.  In May 2006, I completed my bachelor’s degree at Wilberforce University with a concentration in health and human services administration and am happy to utilize my skills to make our community a safer place to live, work and play.

The American Red Cross has a strong relationship with the citizens of Fayette County.  It is my hope that this support will continue into my tenure.  It is also my hope, once I get my feet wet, that you will help me to expand Red Cross services in our community.
