Volunteer:
Be Part of the Solution
Volunteers DRIVE
older adults and persons with disabilities to medical and
other vital appointments. Each year, the Red Cross transports
over 1,800 clients. Volunteer drivers are needed for this
program.
At least one
member of every family should be trained in CPR and First Aid.
Volunteer Instructors TEACH our community these
life-saving skills.
The Red Cross
responds to about 400 home fires every year making it the
community's #1 disaster. Volunteers COMFORT victims and
help get them back on their feet.
It is crucial that
the Red Cross and the community be ready for future disasters.
Volunteers help BUILD & MAINTAIN systems and
relationships that will allow our Columbus Chapter to respond
effectively to a major disaster in our community.
Community Disaster
Education volunteers EDUCATE the community about how to
prepare for, respond and recover from disaster. Special
emphasis is placed on some of our most vulnerable in the
community - children and older adults.
Thank you
for supporting the American Red Cross!
