The American Red Cross and the American Heart Association recently released new Guidelines for First Aid, which will bring about new procedures for first aid. Newly reviewed topics in the guidelines include use of inhalers, use of epinephrine auto-injectors, wounds and abrasions, dental injuries, snakebite and cold emergencies (hypothermia and frostbite).
