BE A MEASLES INITIATIVE ADVOCATE & PART OF THE NEW NATIONAL YOUTH MEASLES TEAM!

Are you between the ages of 16-25? Do you like thinking outside the box? Do you have a great track record for putting on large-scale innovative Measles events in your local chapter or region? Are you interested in being part of a country-wide youth movement to increase national awareness for this very important but still relatively unknown cause? If you answered yes to the above questions, then we think you would make a perfect Measles Initiative Advocate! Join other youth from around the country to plan multi-city marketing campaigns and attention grabbing fundraisers. If you are interested in this new opportunity sponsored by the American Red Cross National Youth Council, then please email ShrutiJHU@yahoo.com for an application.

GET YOUTH ON BOARD!

There are several opportunities for youth to take on greater leadership roles within the American Red Cross infrastructure. Nominations are being sought for members of the Board of Governors, the National Committee on Nominations, the National Committee on Resolutions, and several other national-level positions.

More information can be found on the "Make a Nomination" section of the Nominations Guide on CrossNet. In this section you will also find the guidelines, position descriptions and nomination forms. If you have any questions, please feel free to email the National Youth Council at NationalYouthCouncil@usa.redcross.org. Remember: nominations must be received in the Office of the National Chair of Volunteers by close of business, October 2, 2006.
