Involve

The long awaited Youth Involvement Toolkit – INVOLVE – has been released!

INVOLVE is a valuable resource that provides field units with unique tools on how to begin, build and maximize youth programs. The Youth Involvement Toolkit features an interactive DVD, booklet and tip sheets that contain testimonials from Red Cross leadership as well as demonstrated best practices. Additionally, it provides comprehensive approaches to youth involvement that are tailored to unit programs.

And the best thing is that the information contained in this toolkit is universal. Unit executives can, and are encouraged to, pass along this toolkit to volunteer managers, directors and coordinators.

The toolkit is the result of a joint effort: youth and adults put together their skills, talent and knowledge in designing and delivering an outstanding resource. The power of INVOLVE brought together the members of National Youth Council and American Red Cross national headquarters staff in a joint effort. This toolkit was made possible by the great contributions of our fellow Red Cross unit management, staff, youth and young adult and adult volunteers and interns who offered their time during and after National Convention to contribute their thoughts about youth involvement in the American Red Cross.

Keep checking your mailbox and visit the toolkit online at http://www.redcross.org/youthinvolvement.

Do not forget .......INVOLVE youth!
