Become a Red Cross Volunteer               

Volunteers make up 97 percent of the total staff of the American Red Cross. No matter how much time you have or don't have, there is a volunteer opportunity waiting for you. Everyone has something special to offer.  Training is provided for those who want to serve in disasters or as health and safety instructors.

Interested in learning or teaching CPR, First Aid, or other Life Saving skills?

The first step in becoming a Red Cross volunteer is go to www.redcross.org to view the Volunteer Orientation. (Click "Volunteer" on the left of the screen and follow the list to the "Volunteer Orientation" link.

Once you finish the orientation, contact your local American Red Cross office to fill out an application and get started:
