Fortunately Raymond Lasota's home wasn't in the direct path of the category F4 tornado that blasted its way through Arma, Kansas. Even so, the powerful winds blew the wall out of his garage, twisted the frame of his home, damaged or destroyed 3 cars, a pickup and a tractor, and completely destroyed his barn and the mobile home his son and daughter-in-law were living in. Twenty five people crowded into his storm shelter and miraculously no one was injured. May 2003, Arma, Kansas |
