Build: Contribute to the Next 100

Give $100 today to support Red Cross disaster services, health and safety programs, preparedness initiatives, and Service to the Armed Forces.
Contribute to the Next 100

In 1917, a little boy in Glenn County donated his birthday money—all $8.87 of it—to the Red Cross Fund of Orland. He is one of many generous donors who have provided a strong foundation for American Red Cross preparedness and relief efforts over the last 100 years.

Donations support disaster victims, lifesaving skills education, Service to the Armed Forces programs, and prevention efforts like our Home Fire Campaign—which aims to reduce home fire deaths and injuries by 25% by 2020.

A $100 contribution can provide basic necessities such as toothpaste, soap and shampoo to 10 people during a disaster, keep 10 people warm with Red Cross blankets, or ensure an infant at a shelter will have a comfortable crib in which to sleep.

During this milestone year, consider joining a Centennial Giving Circle or becoming a Centennial Sponsor. For more information, contact Kris.Kirkpatrick@RedCross.org.
