The American Red Cross provides opportunities for youth volunteers to support the mission and service delivery of the organization in many different ways.
Youth programs at the Red Cross build character and provide the tools and experience you need for leadership, effective communication, and service to the community. By interacting with those in need, Red Cross youth volunteers establish a sense of awareness and personal achievement while developing these skills.
Current volunteers who require login assistance to Volunteer Connection should contact:
Myisha Aban, Youth Services Manager (916) 993-7073
Complete your volunteer application online and create your Volunteer Connection log-in. Once you submit an application, you will receive an email with a link to activate your Volunteer Connection account and view your remaining prospective volunteer steps.

Whether there is already a club at your school, or you're interested in starting one, getting involved is easy!
If you are currently enrolled in school, we encourage you to start or join a Red Cross Club! Red Cross Clubs are youth service groups that help the organization fulfill its humanitarian mission of preventing, preparing for and responding to emergencies. Working closely with our local chapter and a school advisor, club members participate in Red Cross service projects that help their schools, their communities and the world.
We are proud to have Red Cross Clubs at the following local schools:
- Lee Middle School
- Benjamin Holt High School
- Oak Ridge High School
- Stag High School
- Teen Impact Center
- CSU Stanislaus
- Lemon Hill Career Development Center
- Sacramento State University
- University of California at Davis
