Welcome to the Tiffany Circle

Founded in Los Angeles in 2007, the Tiffany Circle is a community of women leaders in business, entertainment, the arts, and philanthropy. These powerful and compassionate women advance the American Red Cross mission by engaging and embracing women within their regions, across the country, and around the world.

Each member of the Tiffany Circle donates $10,000 annually to advance the work that the Red Cross does every day throughout our five lines of service:
  • Disaster Relief Services
  • Supporting America’s Military Families
  • Health and Safety Training and Education
  • Blood Services
  • International Services
The Tiffany Circle Mission
To lift someone up in their darkest hour, in their time of need, to offer hope, to commune with like-minded women who are making a difference, to be inspired to become a better person and to express her shared passion for the humanitarian mission of the
American Red Cross.

The Power of Human Leaders to Alleviate Human Suffering

A Tradition of Women Leaders and Philanthropists

The name Tiffany and the $10,000 amount have historical precedence. The society is named for the beautiful Tiffany windows in the Board of Governors Hall at Red Cross national headquarters in Washington, D.C. These windows, produced by the Tiffany Studios, were commissioned by Red Cross President Mabel Boardman in 1917. As an act of reconciliation and hope, they were paid for with a $5,000 gift from the Women's Relief Corps of the North and $5,000 from the United Daughters of the Confederacy of the South.

The women in these windows personify virtues at work in the Red Cross Movement: hope, mercy, faith, charity, truth and fortitude. Members of the Tiffany Circle provide living examples of these virtues in their local communities, by ensuring the Red Cross has the ability to help people prevent, prepare for and respond to life's emergencies.
