Every day, the American Red Cross of the Northern California Coastal Region comprised of the California Northwest, Bay Area, Silicon Valley, and Central Coast Chapters, provides relief to people affected by local disasters, and it’s just a matter of time until our community will be tested by the adversity of an earthquake or other major disaster. Only by working together – as corporations, non-profit organizations, government agencies and individuals – can we ensure we’re able to help our neighbors and strengthen our community to face the challenge of a major disaster.
Partnering with the American Red Cross demonstrates your company’s commitment to our community and leaves a lasting impression on employees, customers and clients.

You can be sure your financial contribution to any of the four Chapters in the American Red Cross of the Northern California Coastal Region is used wisely. We are classified as a publicly supported organization and are exempt from federal income taxes of the Internal Revenue Code under Section 501(c) (3).
Our budget is annually approved by a volunteer Board of Trustees. The financial operations of the four chapters within the Northern California Coastal Region are reviewed and appropriately adjusted on a regular basis. An annual audit is performed by an outside firm.
The distinguished corporate members of the Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP) enable the Red Cross to respond immediately to the needs of individuals and families impacted by disaster anywhere in the United States, regardless of cost. They do so by helping to build a reliable funding base for disaster relief services.
