Every day, the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter provides relief to people affected by local disasters, and it’s just a matter of time until our community will be tested by the adversity of an earthquake or other major disaster. You can be sure your financial contribution to American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter is used wisely. We are classified as a publicly supported organization and are exempt from federal income taxes of the Internal Revenue Code under Section 501(c) (3).
Our budget is annually approved by a volunteer Board of Trustees. The financial operations of American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter are reviewed and appropriately adjusted on a regular basis. An annual audit is performed by an outside firm.
The distinguished corporate members of the Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP) enable the Red Cross to respond immediately to the needs of individuals and families impacted by disaster anywhere in the United States, regardless of cost.
