For Connecticut only - for other regions, please contact your local Red Cross.
As a community organization, the Red Cross is interested and available to visit your organization or group to provide an overview of the work of the Red Cross and/or provide information and opportunities about how your group can volunteer with the Red Cross.
Mission Overview Presentation:
Red Cross Community Ambassadors are available to keep your organization informed about the mission, programs and activities of the American Red Cross in your community. These leadership volunteers are available to represent the Red Cross at local private and public functions such as community events, group or committee meetings and social gatherings. Red Cross Ambassadors may have a personal story to share, but all are able to share an engaging, easy-to follow 20 minute presentation that provides an overview of all Red Cross services. (presentation is best suited for audiences ages 17 and above. Organization needs to provide audio and video equipment)
Volunteer Opportunities Presentation:
Members of our Volunteer Recruitment Team, a workforce of talented volunteers, are available to come speak with your organization about volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups or take part in local recruitment events, including volunteer and career fairs.
