The American Red Cross Central Florida Region is committed to educating our communities on how to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. We are also available to participate in local events such as community and health fairs. Please provide a minimum of four (4) weeks’ notice for all speaker and/or event requests.
During this presentation, your Red Cross expert will share background information about the Red Cross and the services we provide to the Central Florida Region community. Following, the presenter will speak on fire safety tips for your home and family. The American Red Cross will also discuss our Home Fire Preparedness Campaign – an initiative that aims to reduce deaths and injuries caused by home fires by 25 percent in five years. The Red Cross is asking every household in America to join us in taking two simple steps that can save lives: checking or installing smoke alarms and practicing fire drills at home.
