  • Recruit, train and empower a diverse corps of volunteers ready to respond to emergencies whenever and wherever they occur.

  • Channel the compassion of caring individuals and partners for people in need of emergency relief.

  • Provide help and hope to our devastated neighbors following daily home fires, tornados, floods and other incidents affecting our community, state, country and world.

  • Prepare individuals to face the unexpected with life-saving training.

  • Plan year-round with our emergency partners for large disasters, terrorist attacks and pandemic flu outbreaks.

  • Provide emergency communications and services for military and international families.

  • Support Red Cross Biomedical Services in maintaining a safe and ready blood supply .

  • Teach the fundamentals of International Humanitarian Law

  • Reach out to everyone through the Red Cross principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.
