Home fires are the number one disaster this country faces and in Southeast Georgia, the Red Cross responds to at least 2 fires per day. The Red Cross urges the community to remember to practice fire safety and also expresses their appreciation to each school that participated in the campaign.
These young people and the adults guiding them are prime examples of the American Red Cross’s power in volunteer work AND in team work. We are looking forward to the next annual Dollars for Disasters Campaign in January 2016!
