Virtually everything we do depends on the successful relationships the Red Cross has with organizations and individuals outside of the Red Cross. Whether it is our funding partners, local businesses, volunteer base, first responders, or other nonprofits - the partners we work with everyday help us identify and meet the needs of our community.
The American Red Cross is not a government agency. Our programs rely on financial support and voluntary service from generous citizens. For more information on becoming a Corporate Partner please contact the Chief Development Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Make a Financial Contribution / Grant
Financial contributions support the work of our lifesaving programs and services. The Red Cross is not a government agency and our strength in the community depends on the generosity of our donors. Consider making a multi-year pledge of support to enable us to be more strategic as we plan for the future.
Become an Event Sponsor
Show your commitment to the community and to the mission of the Red Cross by becoming a sponsor. Many options for support are available.
Set Up an Employee Giving Campaign / Matching Gift Program
Designate the Red Cross during employee giving campaigns, offer payroll deduction options, and match your employee’s donations to demonstrate corporate citizenship and support an organization of importance to your employees.
Host a Fundraiser
Raise money at your workplace through dress casual at work for a day, mini golf tournaments, car washes, ice cream sundae sales, bake sales or other events.
Donations of goods and services have proven to be a valuable supplement to the financial support that is essential to sustaining Red Cross programs and services. In-kind donations can be utilized in disaster relief operation as well as to maintain the organization’s services and programs. Keep in mind that it is important to ensure in-kind gifts reduce expenses/cost and have a direct and immediate financial benefit to existing programs.
Promote Employee Volunteerism
Connect your organization's values with your employee's desires by hosting a volunteer orientation. The American Red Cross is an organization led by volunteers who support our lifesaving mission and make a difference in the lives of others every day. Your employees can help comfort victims of a house fire or teach a CPR and First Aid class. Many opportunities for volunteerism are available; click here for your local chapter's volunteer contact information.
Host a Blood Drive
Provide a physical space and coordinator to educate, motivate, and recruit blood donors. It's a simple and powerful way to serve your community and allow employees to get involved. Blood donations through the Red Cross help provide the gift of life for patients in serious medical need. For information on hosting a blood drive, please call or 1-800-GIVELIFE or visit http://www.redcrossblood.org/centralplains.
Train Your Employees

Provide an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) in Your Workplace

Host a Community Presentation
Schedule and host a Be Red Cross Ready presentation to help you, your family, your community, and your workforce better prepare to face any emergency. These workshops are also customized to reach diverse and culturally-specific communities.
