New Orleans - Disaster Preparedness and Resiliency

Home Fire Preparedness Campaign

The campaign involves door-to-door neighborhood canvassing to provide residents with fire safety information, tools, and guidance to make fire escape plans and installation of smoke alarms. Neighborhoods are selected based on historical fire injury and deaths data, recent fire-related tragedies and collaboration with local fire departments.
