Patricia “Pat” Petrauskas

Patricia “Pat” Petrauskas joined the American Red Cross of Southern Maryland eight years ago in 2009, and has been a stellar representative of the Service to Armed Forces department ever since. Every Thursday, you can find her at the Patuxent River Naval Base in the Medical Treatment Facility’s Pharmacy as a beloved, indispensable, reliable member of the team. What’s a Thursday at Patuxent River without Pat?! Military personnel look forward to seeing her and when she is not there, everyone notices. She brings a warmth and compassion to her duties that can’t be missed, and the homemade goodies she makes and brings in for all help as well! Pat is that quiet volunteer that many may not know about, but when she’s not around, she is definitely missed. During her time with Red Cross she has volunteered over 430 hours. It is because of her heart and dedication to American Red Cross and our military and veteran communities that Pat has been sel ected as the May Volunteer of the Month for the Greater Chesapeake Region. Thank you, Pat, for all you do!
