Red Cross Clubs

Red Cross Clubs are officially recognized clubs on school campuses or in the community led by middle school, high school and college students who wish to serve their community as volunteers of the American Red Cross. Clubs participate in activities such as service projects and leadership training by planning events at their own schools and participating in chapter sponsored projects. Clubs can plan events related to fundraising, biomedical services, service to the armed forces, preparedness health & safety, and international initiatives.

Students in Red Cross Clubs also organize fundraisers for a variety of Red Cross initiatives including international disasters and the chapter’s youth program. Clubs also support the American Red Cross by building awareness, hosting blood drives, promoting Red Cross programs, and serving as upstanding representatives of the mission.

Take action now and join your school’s Red Cross Club or start a club in your school or community today. All of our clubs were started by youth just like you!

The first step to get your club started is to obtain permission from your school, recruit a minimum of four interested members, and recruit an adult advisor. From there we provide many resources and toolkits which outline everything you need to know about starting and maintaining your own club. Once you have permission from your school, a core group of interested students and an adult willing to serve as club sponsor, you are prepared to start your club.
