Each year, the Red Cross accepts nominations from the public for recognition of people who go above and beyond in service to others, exemplifying the spirit of our own mission. These heroes are honored in recognition of their good works.
Team Red Cross members run the historic 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boston in support of the American Red Cross mission. With every mile run and every dollar raised, Team Red Cross runners help to save and transform the lives of people in their greatest time of need.
Teams of nearly 600 dedicated Red Cross volunteers will come together on and in advance of Marathon Day to ensure the highest level of readiness and well-being to marathon runners and spectators alike.
Women Who Care, A Leadership Breakfast is one of the largest women’s networking events in the city. In the tradition of our founder, Clara Barton, the event was developed to help raise awareness and garner financial support for the critical programs provided by the American Red Cross of Massachusetts.
