Attention Certified Nurse Assistants: This course is designed to teach and give hands on training for Acute Care.

Learn: Sterile technique, EKG, glucose monitoring, oral suctioning, nutrition and many other acute care related skills

Make yourself more marketable!

Day classroom sessions: One week to complete, Monday through Friday from 8:30am-3:00pm.

Requirements:

• Must pass an Assessment Exam

• Present copy of a negative TB or chest x-ray taken within the past year

• Present current photo ID - Drivers License, Passport, or state issued ID card

• Present MA CNA Certification - bring to the Assessment Exam

• Deposit required to hold your place in class

• Full payment required 3 weeks before class begins

To Register & Class Information: Registration is completed after passing the Assessment Exam and meeting other requirements as noted above. The Assessment Exam is offered at different times at each location, so please contact the location of interest. Online registration is not available at this time. Refund Policy: Students need to complete and submit the cancellation notice to the American Red Cross Training Site no later than 3 weeks prior to the day class starts. To be eligible for a refund of payments made. No refunds will be issued for a student that is dismissed for absenteeism, tardiness, or fails the program. Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. Refunds will be issued to students enrolled in a class that has been cancelled due to low enrollment.
