Volunteers power our humanitarian mission.
From serving meals to disaster victims to helping with blood drives, volunteers contribute throughout our community. Our volunteers teach CPR and help soldiers arrange travel home for the birth of a child. They help us prepare for disaster and recover from the aftermath.
Volunteers are the heart of the Red Cross. Nearly 1,300 volunteers support the Eastern Missouri Region. They contribute a varying number of hours – from very infrequently to nearly full-time. Please consider giving your time to the Red Cross.
How can I volunteer for disaster relief efforts? How do I start the process of becoming a volunteer? What is the time commitment required to volunteer? Get the answers to your questions here.
The American Red Cross offers internships for exceptional undergraduate and graduate college students in the Eastern Missouri Region. However, availability is limited however, and applications are taken and reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
If you are interested in an internship, please submit a cover letter and resume to Yvonne Berry at Yvonne.Berry@redcross.org or call 314-516-2758.
