In 2017, the New Hampshire / Vermont region of the American Red Cross celebrates “100 Years of Service.” Small chapters of the American Red Cross were chartered throughout our region in 1917 in response to the effort during the First World War.
For 100 years Red Cross volunteers have supported our communities and recognized people in those communities for work they’ve done in service of others.
We’d like to thank everyone who joined us for the 2017 Everyday Heroes Awards which were held on March 1, 2017 at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH.
The Everyday Heroes Awards is a fundraising event that brings together hundreds of community leaders to celebrate local individuals whose extraordinary acts of courage and compassion make them a hero.
The awards were presented by the American Red Cross of New Hampshire and Vermont, our title sponsor Unitil, and the generous support of donors like you.
This is the largest fundraising event of the year in New Hampshire benefiting the American Red Cross. Funds raised at the event help support our local Red Cross programs to build a better prepared and more resilient community.
