Youth volunteers have been serving the Red Cross since World War I and continue to be catalysts of change, keeping the mission of the Red Cross alive and well. In New Hampshire we have a plethora of opportunities for Red Cross youth volunteers. Youth are active in chapter youth boards, Red Cross Clubs, and specialized programs such as Venture Crew and Senior Connect.
Youth Boards are comprised students from the area who regularly meet at a Red Cross Office locations. They aid the chapter in various ways and coordinate service events throughout the community. Youth boards stress the importance of leadership development within the group and take much ownership in the activities they are a part of. To start a NH Youth Board or Club we need you to have an adult advisor to facilitate meetings, supervise at events and to be role models for our future generations.
Red Cross Clubs meet weekly at several schools throughout New Hampshire. Students integrate activities which spread awareness or increase monetary funds to support the Red Cross. Red Cross Clubs are facilitated by a school advisor and have student leadership positions. To start a NH Youth Board or Club we need you to have an adult advisor to facilitate meetings, supervise at events and to be role models for our future generations.

We are also looking for Adult Youth Volunteer Management Team members who can coordinate the youth clubs and boards throughout the state. These Adult Youth VMT members act as a liaison between the Youth Club/Board Advisors and the Red Cross. Without adult volunteers who have a desire to lead youth the Red Cross is unable to build our youth for the future.
