Youth Involvement

The Dayton Area Chapter of the American Red Cross encourages youth to get involved and start a Red Cross Club in their school. Students can learn more about community service, fundraise for the measles initiative and collect books for the English as a Second Language program.

Additionally, special Group Projects allow your church group, school classes, or other youth organization to volunteer for one-time projects such as bulk mailing, newsletter collating or fundraising for the American Red Cross.

Youth Crew

The American Red Cross Dayton-Area Chapter Youth Crew at WPAFB is composed of youth from around Montgomery, Greene and Preble counties, who meet every three weeks on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Youth Club has around 15 members including a president, vice-president, secretary and liaison. If you are interested in joining the Youth Crew at WPAFB, contact Kay Caliguiri, Youth Crew Coordinator, at 937-257-9141 or
