Nominate A Hero
Do you know someone who has done something extraordinary for the community this year?
Now is your chance to honor them. The American Red Cross of Central Ohio is seeking nominations for the 4th Annual Heroes Gala - produced by our Young Professionals Group, the Associate Board. The 2017 Heroes Gala is presented by Abercrombie & Fitch.
Everyday ordinary people make extraordinary contributions by putting their needs aside to help others in our community. To celebrate this, the Gala will highlight the values of courage, initiative, compassion, personal responsibility, and humanity which underline heroic actions which save lives and/or demonstrate an unusual degree of character.
Proceeds raised from this event will support critical community services that are offered by the American Red Cross.

HEROES COME IN EVERY SHAPE, SIZE, AGE, GENDER, RACE, AND CREED. EVERY HERO EMBODIES AND DEMONSTRATES THE VALUES OF COURAGE, COMPASSION, CHARACTER, HUMANITY, PERSONAL INITIATIVE, AND RESPONSIBILITY. HEROES NEED NOT BE FAMOUS, SIMPLY SOMEONE THAT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WHEN THE NEED AROSE.
