GenerationReady™ for Seniors is a program of the American Red Cross of Greater Cleveland, specifically designed with seniors in mind, to help them improve emergency awareness and become better prepared for when a disaster strikes.
Through the generous support and commitment of Aetna® Medicare, this program is able to provide senior adults with the necessary information and potentially life-saving steps that should be taken in the event disaster strikes.
GenerationReady™ for Families is broken down into these three, easy-to-follow steps:
- Get a Kit makes recommendations on different supplies and essentials participants should have on hand in the event of an emergency.
- Make a Plan suggests different steps that should be taken to be best prepared before, during and after an emergency.
- Be Informed provides general contact information on state/local agencies, radio stations and television stations.
