My name is Sean Coffman, and I am the new Territory Service Delivery Manager for Health and Safety in the State of Wyoming. I'm excited by the opportunities presented in Wyoming, and am sincerely looking forward to working and meeting with each of you as we work to deliver the various Red Cross products across the state.
As an instructor of the Red Cross, you help us train more than 10 million people annually in lifesaving skills. You are an incredibly important part of the American Red Cross mission. As such, I'm pleased to share with you some new resources that we are making available to instructors to make your job easier:
NEW Customer service call center: 1-800-Red Cross
Instructors can now call 1-800-Red-Cross (Option 3) to set up training class within the Learning Management Center, submit training records, order training supplies or equipment, or discuss any questions or concerns.
The Customer Service call center is open from 7am to 9pm ET, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 6pm ET on Saturdays, and 10am to 4pm ET on Sundays.
On-Line Course Record Submission
The Red Cross Learning Management System now allows you to manage your teaching certificates and course records online. Immediately after the completion of your course, you will now be able to enter the pertinent course information, class roster, and submit payment all at one time.
Dedicated instructor website
Our dedicated instructor website, www.instructorscorner.org, has been fully redesigned to allow easier access to program information including free digital downloadable course materials and the ability to purchase printed materials. Through this website you can also access our Red Cross LMS system SABA, where instructors can submit electronic course record information and print certificates for course participant.
NEW Invoicing Policy
I also want to make you aware of the new National invoicing policy for Health and Safety programs implemented on September 15, 2011. The new policy allows invoicing of $500 and above. The American Red Cross realized that there are times when fees will be lower than the $500 requirement. For these instances we will accept payment via credit card, check or cash at the time of the course submission.
