Restaurant donates food during disaster response
Lunch during a disaster operation isn’t always ideal. It usually involves a lot of fast food, and a lot of it is cold. But not this week.
This week, the South Bay Shopping Center’s Olive Garden treated volunteers and staff to a full lunch – complete with spaghetti, lasagna, ziti, salad, and of course, bread sticks.
The service wasn’t only a single day, either. Wait staff actually came to Cambridge twice – donating enough food to feed just about everyone. We are still full over here, but we are very appreciative of the delicious generosity.
