The American Red Cross and M&M Art Ltd. are proud to offer museum quality prints commemorating the contributions of the American Red Cross in times of war.
The first war-related mission of the American Red Cross occurred in 1898, when the tiny organization responded to the country's need for assistance for the men who went off to fight in the Spanish-American War. By the time World War II ended in September 1945, nearly every family in America had a member who had served as a Red Cross volunteer, made contributions of money or blood, or received Red Cross services. Red Cross workers also served with distinction during the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the more recent Persian Gulf War, enduring the oftentimes harsh conditions that accompany conflict. Nikolai Ziolkin, Eugenie Gradova, and Michael Nikiporenko have been selected to depict the indomitable spirit of those who have served under the Red Cross emblem.
A print will be made of a specially selected work from this series annually. For a full description and to see an enlargment of current prints available please select from the list below. As more prints are completed they will be added to the list.
