In 1917, the American Red Cross commissioned Tiffany Studios of New York City to create three stained-glass windows to illustrate the theme of "ministry to the sick and wounded through sacrifice." The Women's Relief Corps of the North and the United Daughters of the Confederacy contributed the funds for the windows.
These replicas of the Tiffany windows are faithful copies of the originals. Each replica can be hung on the detachable chain or can stand in the LuciteTM base. The windows are a stunning representation of the beauty and symbolism of the American Red Cross.
