The Red Cross Disaster Action Team has assisted four adults from Young Road in Gilford who were displaced after a fire tonight.

The American Red Cross Disaster Action Team has assisted four adults from Young Road in Gilford who were displaced after a fire tonight. The residents have been offered financial assistance for food, lodging, clothing, shoes and bedding. The American Red Cross Disaster Action Teams are groups of volunteers located throughout the state that are specially trained to provide disaster relief and emotional comfort. They are available to respond at any time of day or night to disasters in their communities or surrounding towns. Red Cross Volunteers on scene tonight were Kay Mahoney and Traci Mahoney-Barker.
