American Red Cross Hosting First Annual Black Tie Gala

The American Red Cross Capital Region is rolling out the red carpet for an elegant evening in celebration of its important work in Service to the Armed Forces.

On Saturday, November 2, 2013, the Red Cross Capital Region will hold its First Annual Red Cross Gala at the Sacramento Grand Ballroom. This black-tie affair - emceed by Jack Armstrong and Joe Getty of Talk 650 KSTE’s Armstrong and Getty – will be a special evening honoring our military and paying tribute to our honored guests, local members of the Documented Original Tuskegee Airmen.

The Red Cross will also present the first Spirit of Tiffany award to honoree Robin Clark Bevier in recognition for her philanthropic leadership in the community.

This First Annual Gala will feature a 1920’s theme, dinner, dancing, live music from Peter Petty and his Terpsichoreans, and a live auction conducted by David Sobon.

Tickets for this special evening may be purchased by visiting and all proceeds with go support Red Cross programs for active duty and retired military living throughout the 24-county Capital Region.

The Red Cross Gala is presented by Aerojet Rocketdyne and the American Red Cross Tiffany Circle, a powerful leadership network of women who want to change lives, save lives, and strengthen communities through a focused investment of time, talent and treasure in the Red Cross.
