American Red Cross Rolls Out the Red Carpet
We’re always really excited to see so many of our volunteers and contributors for big events like this,” says Peggy Holewinkski, regional chief development officer. “It really says a lot about our community and what they do to help.

The American Red Cross of Northwest Ohio will celebrate their 11th annual Oscar Night on Sunday, March 2 from 6 – 10:00 p.m. at the Owens Community College Center for Fine and Performing Arts.

This black-tie Red Cross fundraiser will welcome guests to the limelight with a red carpet surrounded by screaming fans. Emcees Chrys Peterson and Jerry Anderson will conduct brief interviews upon arrival. Guests will enjoy upscale hors d’oeuvres thanks to the generosity of more than 30 of Toledo’s finest restaurants. New this year is the inclusion of a pub room where guests can refresh, relax, and treat themselves to a fine selection of craft beer and gastropub fare. Music will be provided by Randy & The Reefsharks and Johnny Rodriguez for guests to dance the night away. This year’s Honorary Chairs are Bob and Kathy Chirdon.
