Bikers revved up their steel steeds all for a good cause this morning.
Around 300 bikers registered for the 2012 Kansas Ride for The Red fundraising event that took riders from Heartland Park for a 155 mile ride to the Flint Hills and a tour of Fort Riley.
Riders were looking forward to the scenic route and helping a good cause.
Rider Steve Christensen said, "I love to ride and we are supporting the Ride for The Red for the Red Cross of Topeka. It's a great time, it was great time last year. It's a beautiful day and we are going to have alot of fun doing this."
The ride was self-guided and concluded with a post ride party at Topeka Harley Davidson with entertainment and prizes
