Weeks after a tornado ripped through Moore, Oklahoma, volunteers from the American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts are now accepting deployments to help residents get back on their feet.

Janette Beal of Fall River, Lily Boutros of Cambridge and Rose Salisbury of Chelmsford recently deployed to the Oklahoma City area, where they will help residents meet their needs and make sure everyone is secured.

The Red Cross has mobilized 1,600 workers who have served more than 401,000 meals and snacks, distributed more than 378,000 relief items and provided more than 17,700 health services and mental health contacts.

The American Red Cross of Eastern Massachusetts will continue supporting the effort however it can. Do you want to help? Become a volunteer, or make a donation by visiting RedCross.org/Donate.
