The American Red Cross Serving King & Kitsap Counties held an exclusive reception for major donors at glassybaby on Thursday, April 26.
The special evening featured glassybaby founder and philanthropist Lee Rhodes and a reflection on Red Cross disaster preparedness and relief efforts. Red Cross board members Laura Rehrmann and Kristi Greene also made remarks.
The event included a new set up glassybaby votives in honor of the Red Cross, aptly named ‘rescue.’ With each purchase of the red and white set, ten percent of the sale is donated to the Red Cross. To date, glassbaby has donated more than $875,000 from sales to charities like the Red Cross that are dedicated to quality of life and helping others heal.
Thanks to glassybaby, Fran’s Chocolates and Ninkasi, guests were treated with gourmet chocolates, delicious wine and the beautiful ambiance of handmade glassybaby vessels.
