Inside look at Super Ball XII

Super Ball XII

By: Tiffany Wheeler, Volunteer

Your American Red Cross held its annual Super Ball XII on Saturday, January 26th, at Safari Texas Ranch in Richmond, TX. Proceeds earned from the event support the vital American Red Cross programs such as Disaster Services, Services to the Armed Forces, and International Services

Super Ball XII was an exciting event where attendees were able to wear their favorite sports jersey as they practiced their free throws, pigskin toss, and enjoy tailgating food. Community members who support the Red Cross and Fort Bend County were honored with applause and gifts. The party also featured a silent bid, and winners were able to take home sports tickets, relaxing spa baskets, children’s toys, and so much more.

KHOU news anchor Len Cannon was in attendance and spoke at the dinner. Head Coaches Eileen Akerson and Goldie Leinweber, along with Quarterback Legacy Ford held an amazing tailgating party! This year’s Honorary Chairs were Chris Breaux, Whitley Penn, Mary Gayle Brindley, Amegy Bank Town Square, and Keri Schmidt, President and CEO of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce. Next year’s Super Ball will be just as fun, you will not want to miss it!
