The International Cars, Ltd. (ICL) family of dealerships invites its customers and community to join them this March for its 2nd Annual First Responders Sales Drive. The dealerships, which include Honda North in Danvers, MA and New Hampshire's Dover Chevrolet, Dover Honda, Audi Stratham and Porsche Stratham, will offer first responders and emergency personnel employee pricing throughout March, which is "American Red Cross Month." And for each vehicle sold, the dealerships will donate $100 (up to $10,000) to support the Disaster Action Team of the American Red Cross of Northeast Massachusetts.
“ICL is honored to continue its partnership with the American Red Cross with our 2nd Annual First Responders Sales Drive,” said Marshall Jespersen, President and CEO of International Cars, Ltd. “Our local police, firefighters and EMS teams put themselves on the line every day to help people in crisis with their immediate relief services. ICL and its employee-owners take great pride in the communities we serve, and we're asking our neighbors to help us support emergency personnel by visiting one of our dealerships this March.”
The American Red Cross of Northeast Massachusetts has held its Charter since May 20, 1933. The chapter serves a population of over 749,000 people in the county of Essex. In 2012, it responded to 64 local disasters providing assistance to 120 families. The chapter's Disaster Action Teams (DAT) are on call around the clock to respond to local disasters that mostly happen one family at a time. They provide emergency assistance, supplies and comfort, as well as teach disaster preparedness in the community.
ICL's community involvement is an ongoing commitment. Recent contributions include a $10,000 donation to the Northeast Veterans Outreach Center and February's Food for Friends drive for local food pantries. For more information on ICL and its dealerships, please visit www.iclautos.com.
