Kum & Go Makes Donation Help Commuities Affected by Wildfires
This partnership with the Red Cross gives us an opportunity to help communities in need.

Kum & Go is joining the American Red Cross to support ongoing disaster relief efforts in Colorado. The convenience retailer is making a $10,000 donation and harnessing its network of 50 stores in Colorado to help people and communities affected by the recent wildfires.

Kum & Go’s in-store campaign, which starts today (June 25), gives its customers the option of adding $1 to each purchase they make at a Kum & Go store. The Red Cross will receive 100 percent of each donation for relief efforts. The campaign will run through Sunday, July 7.

“As a company, we are committed to supporting the communities where we live and work,” said Kyle Krause, President and CEO of Kum & Go. “We are fortunate that all of our associates are safe and that our stores are unaffected by the fires. This partnership with the Red Cross gives us an opportunity to help communities in need. Collectively, as associates and customers of Kum & Go, we can make a difference and help our friends and neighbors in Colorado.”

“We know that disasters can happen to anyone at any time, and it is with the generosity of donors such as Kum & Go that we can help those who need it as they are facing their darkest days,” said Leslie Schaffer, CEO of the Iowa Region. “This type of support allows us to carry out our mission everyday—to alleviate human suffering during emergencies—and to help those affected recover.”
