In preparation for upcoming trainings, the American Red Cross in Northern Colorado is holding a Volunteer Opportunity Fair for community members to learn about ways to get involved and prepare for disasters.
When a disaster strikes, it is a natural reaction to want to help. Most people don’t realize that training for moments like that is important and vital to helping. Come visit with our volunteers to find out the wide range of ways that you can participate with your American Red Cross. Hear from volunteers what it is like to respond to a fire call with our Disaster Action Team. Talk to a volunteer about helping in a shelter.
Although prior experience is not required for all positions, the Red Cross is seeking licensed health and mental health volunteers as well as volunteers with experience in public relations and communications.
Our next training is coming up soon. Stop in to see what opportunities are available!
