Local volunteers help Colorado fire response

As of yesterday, nearly 300 trained Red Cross disaster workers are supporting relief efforts in Colorado, where the fires are still raging and threatening as many as 20,000 homes.

Two local, experienced volunteers are now helping people in Colorado. Jim Plank, from Lake County, and Fran Condon, from Sonoma County, are now helping people who've been evacuated, have lost their homes or even their entire neigbhorhoods.

As of yesterday, nearly 300 trained Red Cross disaster workers are supporting relief efforts in Colorado, where the fires are still raging and threatening as many as 20,000 homes.
