National Federation of Professional Trainers host Run for the Red

5K/10K on Saturday, June 1 at the Indiana Veterans Home.

The National Federation of Professional Trainers is working hard to help the Red Cross continue its services in Tippecanoe, Carroll, Benton and White counties. The group is a committed HERO as part of the Tippecanoe Country Chapter of the American Red Cross annual HEROES campaign, where they are committed to raising $1,100 towards the $80,000 goal.

They are hosting the Run for the Red 5K/10K on Saturday, June 1st at the Indiana Veterans Home, located at 3851 N River Rd West Lafayette. Pre-registration is encouraged online at www.franklinfinish.com and clicking on the June 1st race link. Registration is also available the day of the race from 7:00am-8:00am. Opening ceremony takes place at 8:15am, followed by the 10K race beginning at 8:30am and the 5K run/walk at 8:50am.

Race packets can be picked up at Fleet Feet, located at 500 Sagamore Pkwy W #3 West Lafayette.

Pre-registration with a t-shirt is $20.00 and $15.00 without. Race day registration with a t-shirt is $25.00 and without $20.00 Cost is $15 without a t-shirt or $20 with a t-shirt.

An awards ceremony will follow the race. Awards will be given to the top male and female. Awards will also be presented to the top male and female finishers in each age division. All proceeds go towards the HEROES campaign goal. In addition, youth recognition will be presented to the top male and female finishers in each age division.
