The American Red Cross Connecticut Chapter Gala will be held Saturday, June 15, from 6:00 p.m. to midnight, at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. This year’s “Party With A Purpose” will honor Superstorm Sandy Relief Partners, said American Red Cross Connecticut and Rhode Island Region CEO Mario Bruno. “We are fortunate to have so many corporate and foundation partners that stepped up to help when their neighbors were in need.” The Gala is presented by Mohegan Sun.
The Gala will include recognition of leadership partners remarks from Lt. General Russel L. Honoré (US Army, Ret.), Commander of Joint Task Force Katrina, leading the Department of Defense response to Hurricane Katrina and a global preparedness authority.

Emcee for the event is Emmy Award-winning journalist and NBC Connecticut evening news anchor Keisha Grant. Guest auctioneer for the evening is radio personality Ray Dunaway, host of Mornings with Ray Dunaway on WTIC NewsTalk 1080.
