Red Cross Mash Bash Tickets Still Available

The Mash Bash helps raise vital funds to support the Red Cross mission to help communities prepare, respond and recover from disasters.

Tickets are still on sale for the 4th Annual Red Cross Mash Bash event which is being held at the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, TN on Saturday, May 18th from 6-10 p.m. Red Cross volunteers are selling tickets for $40 per person or they can be purchased online at http://american.redcross.org/mashbash

Ticket cost includes food, beverages and entertainment.

“We are so grateful to each of our sponsors and everyone in the community who comes out to support us at this event each year,” said Scott Jones, 2013 Mash Bash Committee Chair. “The Mash Bash helps raise vital funds to support the Red Cross mission to help communities prepare, respond and recover from disasters.”

This year’s Mash Bash will feature a number of unique silent auctions items including:

  • A basketball signed by Rick Insell, MTSU Women’s Basketball Head Coach
  • A framed and autographed photo by “Voice of the Vols” UT Football Announcer, John Ward
  • A load of gravel donated by The Rogers group
  • An authentic Jack Daniels restored whiskey barrel
  • A 3 day motorcycle riding training session donated by Bumpus Harley Davidson
  • Various pieces of Premier Designs jewelry
  • Several gift certificates valid at local restaurants
  • A hand-made quilt created from vintage Red Cross blood donor t-shirts donated by Ron Merritt
  • Current event sponsors include: Access Title & Escrow, American City Bank, Ascend Federal Credit Union, Celebrate Party Center, Charter Communications, Citizen’s Community Bank, Cubic Transportation Systems, First Community Mortgage, Jack Daniels, Light-tube, MTAR, People's Bank and Trust, Redstone Credit Union, Sonic Drive-In of Tullahoma, Southern Community Bank, Special Touch Disaster Restoration, Stan McNabb Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, The DUCK, WGNS and Woodard's Diamonds. Company sponsorships are still available and range from $250 - $2500 and include event tickets based on giving levels. All proceeds collected through ticket sales and company sponsorships will go to help the local Red Cross to assist victims of local disasters, such as fires, floods and tornadoes. .

    The event is a casual affair with country flair, where locals can come to kick-back and enjoy live music performed by Southern Moss, barbeque, beverages and a relaxed atmosphere while supporting a worthy cause. For everyone’s safety, all guests should have a designated driver for the evening. All designated drivers will be given a wrist band when entering and allowed one alcoholic beverage for the evening.
