Red Cross has opened an evacuation shelter in Berthoud

 

Fort Collins, CO – 9:45 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015 - The American Red Cross has opened an evacuation center at Berthoud Community Center located at 248 Welch Ave, Berthoud, CO.

 

Families needing a safe place to go can go to the Berthoud Community Center. Red Cross volunteers are in the area, to assess damages and determine how the Red Cross can help those displaced by the fire. In situations such as these, the Red Cross typically provides for essential immediate needs such as housing for the night, food, blankets, comfort kits, clothing and help refilling medications destroyed by the tornado.
