The American Red Cross of Greater Idaho has announced a Call for Nominations for those interested in serving on the chapter’s board of directors. Board members are primarily responsible for ensuring the chapter has the financial resources needed to fulfill its mission, actively communicates the Red Cross mission to the community, and supporting the organization through volunteerism. Selected candidates will be presented for election for a three-year term at the chapter’s annual meeting on May 17, 2013.
Individuals interested in serving on the board of the American Red Cross of Greater Idaho should submit a letter of interest, resume, and application by 5 pm on February 25, 2013. Applications are available online at www.redcrossidaho.org and should be sent to the Red Cross’ Boise office which is located at 146 South Cole Road, Boise, ID 83709. The candidate review process will consist of interviews and reference, conflicts of interest and background checks.
