Volunteers with the Red Cross of Northwest Michigan will share their stories and celebrate their service along the East Coast at a public open house on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
More than 16,000 Red Cross volunteers from across the country have responded to the East Coast since Hurricane Sandy hit in October. At the open house, the Red Cross will provide a 3-month update on the response and share details on how the organization is continuing to help those affected by the superstorm.
Those interested in attending the Volunteer Open House and Sandy Relief Update should RSVP by contacting Evan Gross at (231) 947- 7286 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
