Rochester Red Cross deploying local volunteer to Oklahoma

The Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross is deploying a second volunteer to Oklahoma City.

ROCHESTER, NY, Tuesday, May 28, 2013—The Greater Rochester Chapter of the American Red Cross is deploying a second volunteer to Oklahoma City to assist with the aftermath of the tornado.

Bill Platt, of Rochester, will depart tomorrow to serve as a training supervisor. He will be available for interviews today from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Greater Rochester Chapter at 50 Prince Street. Please contact Erin D. Caldwell at 585-370-1834 to arrange for an interview.
